Hello there! Let me introduce myself…
My name is Amanda and I began Lily & Threads to provide playful resources for my daughters as we embarked our homeschool journey. Welcome, I hope you stay awhile.
I have always loved illustrating, painting, and sewing. In 2020, when my oldest daughter became an expressive toddler, I started to create preschool activities for her. Flashcards to help her learn her ABC’s, colors, numbers and bible stories. From there I expanded into early educational flashcards, prints, paper doll pretend play, routine charts, and so much more.
I love to use playful yet calming colors in my illustrating. Simple and thoughtful illustrations appeal to toddlers and young children, making it easier for them to recognize their surroundings.
As my two young daughters began to ask more and more questions around the gospel, I began to create more biblical curriculum and materials. I wanted to create resources that were both artistically done and theologically sound, without compromising one or the other.
